Through the ERASMUS+ programme, around 70 higher education institutions in almost 30 countries are available for study abroad placements.

In addition, the HfM Würzburg maintains partnerships with six higher education institutions outside the EU. Students at the HfM Würzburg benefit significantly from these relationships, as they make it easier to organise and finance study abroad experiences. For jazz students, of particular note are

• the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, USA
• the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA
• the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Israel

are of particular interest due to their excellent jazz departments.

Students receive support from the International Office at the HfM Würzburg in organising and undertaking study placements and work placements abroad.
