On the Teacher Training Programme in Music for Upper Secondary Schools – Double Subject (GyD), students can choose a jazz-specific main instrument and, in addition, select the ‘Jazz’ specialisation module for the period from the 3rd to the 7th semester. This provides students not only with jazz-specific instrumental tuition but also with a range of other jazz-oriented subjects, such as

• Jazz harmony
• Jazz aural training
• Jazz history
• Big Band/Combo/Pop Band
• Rhythmic interpretation
• Big Band Conducting
